Our Milestones
Every milestone reflects what becomes possible when local talent meets structured innovation, grounded in real projects and recognised standards.
Akili za Kesho Ventures Company Limited was incorporated in Uganda on 15 October 2025, formalising a shared mission to bridge technology and nature and to turn local innovators into investment-ready ventures.
Our teams took part in robotics competitions and ran hands-on community sessions, putting practical technology skills directly into the hands of young innovators across the region.
Akili za Kesho Ventures Academy became an accredited Cisco Networking Academy, supported by AFRALTI under a three-year Academy Support Centre agreement effective 1 August 2026, bringing globally recognised Cisco certifications to learners locally.
We launched our flagship 4IR internship, selecting 48 interns from more than 300 applicants and training them free of charge across 17 specialised tracks and a Plan-to-Feedback lifecycle powered by AI and VR simulations.
Why it matters
We take no equity in the ventures and talent we support. Our work is measured in people reached, skills earned, and opportunities opened across East Africa.
